Here
are a few of the best free shower games for you to play at your next
event. One of the secrets to having fun at these parties is to have the
right party activities - ones that most people will enjoy and
participate in. Some say that grown ups need to have a chance to play
like babies! These free shower games will give them an opportunity to
do so. Remember to select party activities that are in line with your
theme (if any) and which are to the tastes of the mother-to-be. Make
sure she's not offended by any of your proposed activities!
Try to use these free shower games
below as a starting point for your own brainstorming. It's best if you
can come up with creative party activities of your own or unique twists
to existing ones.
Let's get into some of these free shower games / party activities.
Bottle speedsters:
This is one of those free shower games suitable for co-ed events.
Fill several baby bottles with water, fruit juice, soft drink etc, with
equal quantities in each. Have a stopwatch ready. Get the guys to
compete to empty a bottle in the least possible time! The fastest one
wins. Before beginning, announce a special prize for the winner,
something that'll appeal to the guys! They'll enjoy party activities
like this one.
Stories with a twist:
Here's another of the free shower games. Choose something from
mom-to-be's life - for e.g., how she first met her husband, or her
first romance at high school, etc. Make it into a short story, just a
few paragraphs. Now remove the names, key phrases, and words from the
story. Just fill in numbers in their place. Have guests guess what each
number stands for (don't tell them the story beforehand). Someone may
say, for e.g., no. 7 is 'the beach'. Get responses for all the numbers,
then fill in the numbered blanks with the guests' choices. Now read out
the story as 'written' by the guests - this one's a laughter generator
and one of those great party activities.
Strings and speeches :
Yet another of the fun free shower games. Have everyone cut a
length of string from a ball. Most will guess it's for a waist
measuring game and choose the length accordingly. When everyone's done,
tell them that they've to talk about themselves or give advice to
mommy-to-be while slowly wrapping the string around their little
finger! These ones make neat party activities.
Words from the wise:
The last of the free shower games on this page. Give everyone a 3"
X 5" card. Ask them to write down a baby related question. For e.g.,
what will you do when the little one wakes up at 4:00 am and starts
crying and you have an important meeting at 9:00 am? Once all guests
are through, collect the cards, shuffle them well and hand them out
again - at random. Now ask them to write down on the reverse of each
card the answer to their original question. Take back the cards, read
out the question and answer on each card. They'll have no relationship
to each other and the result is truly hilarious!
