8 cups of popped popcorn
Melted butter - two tablespoons
Onion powder - quarter teaspoon
Chili powder - half teaspoon
Grated cheese - quarter cup
Garlic salt - half teaspoon

Thoroughly mix together the melted butter, chili powder, onion powder and garlic salt. Pour this mixture onto the popped popcorn, and stir well till the popcorn is uniformly coated with the mixture. Next, sprinkle cheese, stir well. Enjoy your snack!

You'll often find lovely punches on baby shower menus. Here's a recipe for an excellent one. List of ingredients:

Unsweetened white grape juice, chilled - 48 oz
Tangerine frozen juice concentrate - six oz (thaw it out before use)
Club soda, chilled - one cup
Fresh, strained lemon juice - quarter cup
Brandy - quarter cup
Sparkling wine - 25 oz

Get a big, cheerful-looking punch bowl. Pour the lemon juice, concentrate, grape juice, club soda and brandy into the bowl, thoroughly mix them. Chill this mixture in your refrigerator. Add sparkling wine slowly, just before serving. This preparation serves about twelve people. This is an exceptional punch, and deserves to be on lots of baby shower menus. In fact, you'll probably have guests asking for the recipe! Caveat - it's possible that mom-to-be is strictly off alcohol. If so, you might want to re-consider serving this punch.

Here's another lip-smacking item found on many baby shower menus - onion rounds. Ingredients and instructions follow.

15 slices of white bread rounds; cut them about 2" diameter
15 thin slices of onion, approximately same diameter
Mayonnaise - have 15 tablespoons ready
Paprika

Toast the bread rounds. Top each round with a slice of onion and spread mayonnaise on it. Broil till the mayonnaise starts to bubble. Then take the paprika, sprinkle on top. Another great choice for baby shower menus!
