How to make attractive baby shower corsages

Baby shower corsages can make mommy-to-be feel like a queen! They're great party ideas for these events. Making baby shower corsages are quite easy. You'll need the following things handy - a centerpiece (usually a pacifier or rattle), long rectangular shaped tulle, tiny silk flowers wrapped around a wire thread, diaper pins. The centerpiece should ideally have two holes at one end, to secure all the other items to it. If you're having a theme, choose your colors, materials, etc in line with it.

To make baby shower corsages, fold the tulle in such a way that it looks like a fan. Pinch it together at one end, and tie that end with a ribbon. Keep lengths of the ribbon free at both ends. Secure the 'fan' to the centerpiece using the holes at the bottom of the pacifier or rattle. Now tie the free ends of the ribbon into an attractive bow on the front side of the corsage. You can also use safety pins to further secure the whole assembly together.

To complete the appearance of your shower corsages, gently spread out the tulle at the top with your fingers. Make use of the flowers on string and maybe some extra ribbons to do more decorating.

Shower corsages can look quite distinctive depending on the materials used. Your corsage is now ready for use and you can pin it onto the mom-to-be with the diaper pin.

There's another way to make great baby shower corsages - use your local florist! Give her the centerpiece (rattle / pacifier, etc) you want to use and ask her to create a corsage. You can choose colors to match your party ideas.
