Make an attractive baby shower corsage

Pin an adorable baby shower corsage on the mom-to-be - and make her feel truly special! This simple gesture is another of those party ideas capable of making the expectant mother's day. It is quite easy to make your own unique baby shower corsage. Here's how.

Get the following items - a rattle (or a pacifier) to act as a centerpiece, tiny silk flowers wrapped around a wire thread, ribbon, long rectangular shaped tulle, diaper pin. The rattle or pacifiers should have one or two holes at one end, to help secure the other items while making the baby shower corsage. Choose colors, materials, etc that are in line with your party ideas and themes.

First, fold the tulle to look like a fan. Then pinch it together at one end, and secure that end with a ribbon. The ribbon should have free lengths at both ends. Tie the ribbon and tulle 'fan' to the holes at the bottom of the rattle / pacifier. Take the free ends of the ribbon and tie them into a bow at the front of the baby shower corsage, that is, on the front side of the rattle / pacifier. You can also use safety pins to further secure the tulle and ribbon to the rattle / pacifier.

To complete your cute shower corsage, spread out the tulle at the top, using your fingers. Do more decorating using the flowers on the string and extra ribbons.
